Wildlife Ambassadors: Primatology and Conservation Courses
C.A.R.E. in association with Wildlife Ambassadors – a program of Rainbow Eco-Farm and Training Center - is proud to offer a series of Primatology and Conservation courses exclusively to C.A.R.E. volunteers in June, July, August 2016.
The courses will be led by Dr. Carolyn Bocian, Ph.D.a member of the IUCN-Species Survival Commission’s Primate Specialist Group and the International Primate Protection League. Focusing on South Africa’s five primate species: Chacma Baboon, Samango Monkey, Vervet Monkey, Large-eared Greater Galago and Southern Lesser Galago, there are three courses which can include a research trip to observe and collect data on wild samango monkeys and other primates.
Train to be a field assistant or get ain introduction to what it is like to be out in the forests collecting data.
