BOOKING

Lets do this! Make your booking and pay your deposit

Lets do this! We are super excited to have you on board. Find out everything you need here to get booked in.

Get to know the project

1. Get to know the project: is C.A.R.E. right for you?

Before you make your booking, make sure that you have done your research and read through our volunteer guide to make sure there are no surprises. You can visit our 'before you book' page for more information about the project and what you can expect.

You can also get an automatic price quote on our 'volunteer' page.

Get in touch

2. Get in touch

Once you have gotten to know the project, get in touch and let us know the details of your planned trip. When you book with us, you can know that your full donation comes directly to C.A.R.E.  Sometimes we may be slow with our emails as admin is not our day job, do so please bear with us if you experience this, and follow-up.  You can also try to follow up with a WhatsApp which will come directly to us. We do not always have access to WiFi or power.

You can book directly with us, although you are also able to book through other trusted websites such as Volunterre Africa, Volunteer World, Oyster World Wide, Activity International and others.

Check pre-requisits

3. Check pre-requisits

There are a few things you'll need to get sorted for this step.

Firstly you'll need to return your enrollment form. This will be sent to you via email when you contact us. Remember to also print this out to bring with you when you arrive.

You will then also need to find out what vaccinations you will need, whether you need to apply for a visa, and if you need to sort any medications before arrival. There is more information on vaccinations, visa, and medications on our 'planning your trip' page.

The final step is to pay your deposit. You will receive instructions via email regarding payments.

Book your flights

4. Book your flights

Once your volunteering trip is confirmed, you can book your flights. Make sure that you give yourself enough time to organise vaccines and other appointments before you leave.

If you need to apply for a visa, be prepared that you will likely need to change your flight dates because it is not guaranteed that your visa will return before your intended travel date.

There is more information on flights and travel on our 'planning your trip' page.

Book your appointments

5. Book your appointments

We recommend that you speak to a travel nurse to find out which vaccinations you will be needing. If you are staying shorter term, you may also need to take anti-malarial's during your stay at C.A.R.E..

Appointments for your visa should be made via the VFS website long in advance of your trip. The VFS website will provide further details of visa requirements.
